When it comes to food, Coron is expensive. One of the reasons is that locals import a lot of their ingredients from another province, Mindoro. Another reason might be that those who visit the town are mostly tourists, hence the higher prices.<\/p>\n

The price of a meal at restaurants is around P150 to P400, depending on where you eat. The P150 meal is a variety of a cup of rice and one viand. If you want pasta, it\u2019s normally around P250, grilled food costs about P200, and a fruit shake can be quite pricey, up to P120.<\/p>\n

For those who are on a budget or aren\u2019t picky eaters, there are carinderias<\/em> (small eateries) that offer cheap food. However, you might have a difficult time finding these places. You can still some offering silog<\/em> meals for about P100 or cheaper. Some curbside stands sell barbeques for around P10 to P25 a stick.<\/p>\n

On our most recent trip, we tried different restaurants around Coron town; however, we found a lot of them too pricey for what we got. There are some exceptions, which are:<\/p>\n
