Like any holiday, a trip to Puerto Princesa will require a bit of planning, especially with the scheduling and budget. Puerto Princesa is a relatively affordable trip, and costs can further be cut if you get yourself discounted rates on flights and accommodations.<\/p>\n

The best time to travel to Puerto Princesa is during the summer, when the sea is calmer and there are fewer storms. Even in the summer, however, the area is prone to light rain showers, particularly in the afternoon. Take this into consideration and prepare for a backup activity if the weather becomes uncooperative.<\/p>\n

Below is a detailed itinerary for a 3-day, 2-night trip, perfect for those who can only afford traveling on the weekend. The itinerary assumes that the travelers will leave from Manila via an early-morning flight.<\/p>\n

Take note that this itinerary is designed for Filipino travelers, and we did not include the time needed to travel from a foreign country to the Philippines. If you\u2019re a foreigner interested in visiting Puerto Princesa, add at least a couple more days to your travel time.<\/p>\n

If you have the luxury of vacationing for more than 3 days, consider visiting other parts of the province as well, like El Nido, San Vicente, or Coron.<\/p>\n
